I am currently in Loews Beach Resort in Santa Monica California. On my first day upon arriving I was waiting to check in and I was sitting by the pool overlooking the ocean. My whole family had our feet on a round piece in front of us that the chairs were situated around. Inside this furniture were beautiful colored rocks. My feet got burned on something, there was no warning of hot contents that should not be touched. I touched the rocks with my hand it was not hot. I touch another piece and burnt my whole hand that now has blisters and cannot be removed from ice. I am here for a wedding on Sunday the 14th of September and checked in on the 9th of September. Due to no warning on what the hotel calls a fire pit and no visible fire I am forced to sit in agony for the remainder of my trip from New York. The hotel has shown no signs of reciprocating and has only provided me with obvious things such as band aids, ice and ointments. With the weather being 80 degrees nobody would assume that beautiful decorative piece of furniture would be so hot to burn my whole hand and I would have to suffer in such much agony. I have already warned other guests sitting around fire pits because they were close to making the same mistake as me. I hope I can continue to stay at Loews Resorts but as of now the lack of reciprocation and pain that I am going through is hindering me from enjoying myself and staying in other Loews again.
I would like to be reciprocated for the pain I am enduring. As I cannot enjoy myself in what is supposed to be a joyous occasion for my family.

I will be here until the 14th of September.

I was very upset to learn that the Lowes Vanderbilt in Nashville canceled s contract with a Conservative Group this last weekend after learning that controversional Dutch parliamentian and filmmaker Geert Wilder was to be the keynote speaker. Thomas A Gegri, the managing director of Lowes Vanderbilt in Nashville, has said he took steps in canceling this conference at the last moment " for the health, safety, and well-being of our guests and employees."
After futher investigation, it was revealed that YOUR Geri is involved in various immigration groups that are definitely against this conferences ideas.

What I want to know Mr, Jonathan M. Tisch, is why would a company like yours even have such a radical person in such a position? Please answer by email or a phone call.

I stayed at at many loew's resorts and was always more than pleased with the exceptional service. Not long ago, I stayed at the "Don" in St. Pete and had a terrible experience which could have been resolved easily but due to the company's lack of customer service, was not. It went through the "chain" as they require but was ignored e-mail after e-mail. I am a business owner and can not believe the lack of professionalism in this company. I personally will not support this establishment again. I just planned a business trip and a Loews hotel was available and for the first time, in this economy, I will not support a company with such low standards for the consumer.
